These terms and conditions apply to purchases made on www.flugger.is

The following conditions, together with our privacy policy, apply to purchases of products via www.flugger.is.

 

1. Conclusion of Purchase Agreement and Delivery of Goods

Purchase agreements are concluded only in Icelandic for orders placed online at www.flugger.is.

Delivery is available to addresses in Iceland and. In area 4 delivery will be to nearest service point if packages are above 20 kg.

Orders placed before 11:00 AM on weekdays are usually shipped the same day if the item is in stock (as indicated during the order process).

Delivery time is stated in business days:

  • 1-5 business days for standard orders.

If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, Flügger will contact the customer as soon as possible to arrange a solution.

Paint is delivered at street level to the curb (shipping cost up to 1000 ISK). The total shipping price is displayed at checkout. Store pickup is available for free.

 

2. Prices

The prices listed on the website at the time of order are applicable. Prices are maximum prices and may vary between stores. Prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs. Delivery costs can always be viewed in the shopping cart before purchase.

 

3. Payment

Accepted payment methods on www.flugger.is: Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay

  • No fees are charged for credit card payments.
  • Payment is only deducted when the item is shipped.
  • If an order includes multiple items and one is out of stock, payment for that item is only deducted when it ships.

 

3.1 Reservation of Funds

For international payment cards, the amount is reserved immediately and remains reserved until:

  1. The payment is deducted when the item is shipped, or
  2. The funds are released according to your card issuer’s policy.

Check with your card issuer for specific rules regarding reserved funds.

 

4. Right of Withdrawal

4.1 Withdrawal Period

Customers have a 30-day right of withdrawal for purchases made on www.flugger.is. The withdrawal period expires 30 days after receiving the item.

Customers must notify Flügger Iceland ehf if they refuse delivery. Notification must be sent via email to sala@flugger.com or by using the standard withdrawal form. Simply refusing delivery without notifying Flügger does not count as a valid withdrawal.

 

4.2 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The withdrawal right does not apply to custom-made items and sealed goods that, for health or hygiene reasons, cannot be returned if the seal is broken.

 

4.3 Returns to Store

Customers can return items to a Flügger store within the withdrawal period with a receipt. Simply bring your goods to a Flügger store from the list below.

4.4 Returns by Courier/Post

Customers must notify Flügger Customer Service before returning items.

Notification can be sent via standard form by letter, email, or in-store.

Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying Flügger.

The customer bears all return shipping costs.

Note: Packages sent as cash-on-delivery will not be accepted.

 

4.5 Condition of Returned Items

Items must be returned in the same condition as received. If an item is returned damaged or missing parts/original packaging, a deduction may apply.

 

4.6 Refunds

Full refunds are issued if the item is returned undamaged. Shipping costs are not refunded if only part of an order is returned.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notification. Flügger may withhold refunds until the item is received or proof of return is provided.

Refunds are made to the same payment method used for the purchase. In-store returns are refunded to the original payment method (receipt required).

 

5. Warranty Claims

If a product does not meet expectations, customers can file a claim through Flügger’s complaints system.

 

Warranty Conditions:

  • Customers must provide proof of purchase (invoice).
  • Private customers have a 24-month warranty under the Icelandic Consumer Sales Act. Complaints must be filed within a reasonable time (within 2 months is always considered reasonable).
  • If a claim is valid, Flügger reimburses reasonable shipping costs.
  • Items must be returned in secure packaging with proof of shipment.

 

Fill out Flügger’s complaint form (available online).

It is important that the claim is described in details. You must include detailed descriptions and photos to support the claim.

Flügger aims to process complaints quickly via customer service or local stores.

 

6. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

7. Force Majeure

Flügger is not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to force majeure events.
